Supporting local business - 18 months consulting and campaigning for changes to Parking restrictions on the Broadway to help preserve local shops.  Resulted in city wide policy change

introducing short term free parking for shoppers.

Developing local Industry - 2 years investigating potential for greater involvement in local decision making using the Estate Development Budget and using it to provide greater value and to stimulate the local economy.  Detailed Action Plan produced and with BHCC to decide if to implement.

Spring 18 health funding available

Not for profit community organisations and projects that provide health and wellbeing benefits to people living in the BN2 5 postcodes ( Whitehawk , Manor Farm and Bristol Estate ) are invited to apply for up to £500 from 2 health funds . Groups should only apply for one of these 2 funds and should contact the community development work team if their organisation or project has received similar funding in the last year.
