Macmillan Cancer Support has teamed up with DueEast Neighbourhood Council and right now are recruiting a team of volunteer Cancer Champions.
Cancer Champions will receive full training and support to promote the benefits of cancer screening and early symptom awareness across Whitehawk, Manor Farm and the Bristol Estate.

Spring 18 health funding available

Not for profit community organisations and projects that provide health and wellbeing benefits to people living in the BN2 5 postcodes ( Whitehawk , Manor Farm and Bristol Estate ) are invited to apply for up to £500 from 2 health funds . Groups should only apply for one of these 2 funds and should contact the community development work team if their organisation or project has received similar funding in the last year.
