The National Trust and partners have a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to support activities and ideas that will help people to spend more time on the Sussex Downs and enjoy their experience of them when they are there.
The Sussex Downs are the range of chalk hills that extend from the borders of West Sussex to Eastbourne. They are part of the wider range of hills known as the South Downs.
The project is focused on the eastern range of the Downs, north of Brighton and Hove to Eastbourne, which include popular landmarks such as Devil’s Dyke to the north west, and Beachy Head to the east.
The Trust is particularly interested in how people’s relationship with the Sussex Downs has changed since the Covid 19 pandemic, and whether this brings new opportunities for people to enjoy the Downland that the project could support.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes. Most of the questions are multiple choice - feel free to select more than one answer. The survey will close on Sunday 28th September.
This survey is anonymous - please do not include any personal data within the answers to your questions.
Thank you for taking the time to contribute to this project.
