The scheme enables the members of the Brighton community to experience the Festival; ticket buyers generously make donations of £5 alongside their ticket purchase and this figure is matched by Brighton Festival.

This fund is then put towards making tickets available for those who might not otherwise be able to attend. Albion in the Community (AITC) has teamed up with American Express to provide a free course for anyone aged 19 or over who is looking for help finding work or changing careers.

AITC and Amex have been running Work Ready together for eight years and the next course takes place over two days on Wednesday 6th June, at the American Express Community Stadium, and Tuesday 12th June, at Amex’s 1 John Street offices.

After a year of working together with Brighton Festival and Brighton People’s Theatre, the community steering committees of East Brighton & Hangleton are proud to bring back Your Place for a second year, following its wonderful success in 2017.
